In a busy world full of miseries..we feel overwhelmed. But how do we get started if our mind is full of questions, full of what if’s and full of unnecessary stress?
When I finally realized I was getting there for my delivery date, I started setting up my timelines before the big day.
At 35 weeks, I did my Maternity Photoshoot and proudly captured my baby bump in a beautiful landscape.
At 36 weeks, we did our final shopping in preparation of little M’s arrival. We were lucky we didn’t have to buy a lot of stuff as we were graciously blessed with families, friends and co-workers who provided us with the essential items for a newborn up to his first year of life.
At 37 weeks, it was my nesting stage wherein we cleaned up the house and decluttered our stuff. His room was ready and all set for his arrival.
At 38 weeks, I finally had to embrace my last day of work and bid goodbye to my colleagues. I was actually staying in my boss lady’s office for 2 weeks while she was on vacation. In that way, my office was vacant and was ready to be occupied with another co-worker.
At 39 weeks, the big day finally arrived. Little M was welcomed into a brand new world and we had a brand new life.
Whatever you are doing and going through right now, step back and get things started..focus and rethink..set goals and take action..then you will realize you’re getting ahead not for others but for your own self.
