Quote of the Day 015: The Lead

Do you have someone in your life whom you admire and look up to? Is he/she a role model? Is he/she authoritative and dominant or does he/she remain humble?
Everywhere we go, we see different kinds of people…at work, in school or at home. When you lead, it doesn’t mean you’re ahead than anyone else. As C.S. Lewis says “It’s not thinking less of yourself but it’s thinking of yourself less.” So never look down on anybody. Being proud is the greatest enemy of your own self while humility makes us real as a person.
The question is …How do you practice humility? How do you remind yourself of your place in this world? Share your thoughts.

I’m humbled when I read about people overcoming challenges. I’ve found that when I get caught in my own “story,” I forget all that I have to be grateful for. We don’t know the stories of others and the challenges they’ve had to overcome. I believe that we are all on the same “playing field” because we are all here to learn and grow. Thank you for these important topics that you introduce in your posts! 🙂

I think leading from the back is what we mums do… It’s how we push and inspire our children to keep going and stay motivated… After all, it’s them who have to live their lives, we just give them a helping little push in the right direction… ?
